Planning

In this week's lecture we had a talk from Lindsey Dowling, who works in the library at TUD Blachardstown, she talked to us about ways to utilize the materials available in the library and how we are able to book into the library, and how to take out books, or find books online, that we could use in our book we are making for this module.

Lindsey also talked to us about plagiarism and what the right and wrong ways were to go about plagiarism. She told us about how there is two steps to the Harvard Referencing system, the system we use in our academic work, and that you always have to have citations and a reference list when using this reference method.

We also were shown the Matrix Method for researching this week and were given a template to complete of our own for finding information and just having something where you can keep all of the important links and names that you can then use when referencing the work.

When using the Matrix Method, we were asked to ask ourselves some questions that were in relation to the topic we want to write about. My topic is all about the streaming app Twitch and also about some popular streamers on that platform and possibly about how the Streaming world may have changed their lives.

Some of the questions I had asked myself that I included in my Matrix were, how does Twitch work? Why is this streaming platform so popular? Why do people want to watch other people play games and also pay for some perks within the app? Could you solely live off your earnings from Twitch?

I also came across a couple of books where I could gather information from for my section in the book, I've listen them down below.
