"Crash Bandicoot is the titular character and the main protagonist of the series of the same name. He is an Eastern barred bandicoot living in N. Sanity Island, who was captured and evolved by Dr. Neo Cortex. Throughout his adventures, Cortex is Crash's usual arch-enemy and is always defeated by Crash in order to keep peace on the island. Crash Bandicoot has been one of my favourite games since I was younger, my brother and I would always play this game on his PSP and would create small competitions between us whenever we would play it. This game is very nostalgic to me and I was very excited when they announced they would be bringing out a new version of the game in 2020 because it reminded me of how much I loved the game when I was younger.

Prototype

Personal Screenshot from my Unity Hub This week I started the prototype on my own game. When I opened up Unity I had no idea where to start, I didn't have much of an idea of how I wanted my scene to look, I just knew I wanted it to have some kind of arcade style to it. To begin, I went into the Unity asset store to see if they had any free assets available that I would be able to use in my game, fortunately they had a lot of assets I will be able to use for my scene. I started out by picking a car that I liked and that fit with my theme and downloaded it and imported it into my Unity. I then looked for some other assets like roads and grass and trees and then added them in to my Unity and created this scene for my game. Introduction to a Future Film and Television Screenwriter

I'm a year 2 Creative Digital Media student and I have really been enjoying this course so far. One of my favourite modules last semster was Storytelling and Narrative, I really enjoy film and televison and it is something I am interested in for a future career.  Some fun things I did over summer were going on some trips to different counties with my friends, I travelled to Mayo in May with two of my closest friends and then travelled to Armagh in June with a big group of friends, they were both really fun trips. My two favourite TV shows at the moment are Station 19 and The Wilds. My favourite movie that I have seen recently is Dear Evan Hansen, I love musicals so I really enjoyed watching this film.
